The scientific achievements and capabilities of CDRI have been largely appreciated. The nation witnessed the momentous occasion of the fruitful achievements of CDRI when in 1987, the then Prime minister of India, Mr. Rajeev Gandhi released four drugs developed by this Institute. Since then CDRI has never looked back.
